Amarok 1.44 built from source, Xine engine

I use a dynamic playlist which pulls from the a smart playlist composed from entire collection with the filter "Not played in last 7 days", completely random order.

Prior to 1.44 it worked as intended.  I never got a repeat of a song within a week.  However, since the 1.44 upgrade, even after reloading/repopulating the dynamic playlist multiple times, I am constantly getting repeats even from the same day.

Anybody?

I've confirmed.. The filters for the dynamic playlist are being completely ignored.

This is broken.
