No covers of compilations in Context Browser

Hello guys,

I have a problem with amarok-1.4.4, xine engine running in a gentoo x84_64 64 bit system.

I have a lot of compilations that appear under "Various artists". It's great that they are handled in that way. However, when I play a song from the compilation, the Context Browser doesn't show the cover of the compilation that the song belongs to. The reason seems also clear to me. I'll give an example to explain:

I got a compilation named "Greatest songs ever". In the Cover Editor I have set the cover for "Various Artists - Greatest songs ever" correctly.
When I play the song "Foo" by "The Bars" which is included in "Greatest songs ever", the Context Browser is looking for a cover image assigned to the album "The Bars - Greatest songs ever" which doesn't exist of course. I can however download a cover image for this imaginary album and save it, that's pretty strange.

The covers of all normal albums are shown correctly. It's only all compilations for which they're not shown.

What is the solution for this problem? Is it a configuration problem or more likely a bug?

Thanks in advance for helping.

I think it is a bug.  Amarok has the artist right for some of my albums, yet it groups them as compilations with other albums that have the same titles (like "Greatest Hits")  Very frustrating and I hope it will be fixed for amaroK 2.0.

Have you checked amarok 1.4.5? I was under the impression this was improved...
