Hi,

is it possible to compile Amarok 1.4.4 with gcc3? Or do I have to use gcc4?

Thanks,
Erik

Thanks for your reply - I am trying to find out the source of the compile errors. I am trying to compile Amarok 1.4.4 on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, but I am getting loads of  errors. Configure works fine, but compiling bombs.

I thought it was the compiler (SLES has gcc 3.3), but apparently not. After looking further into it, it seems that SLES has KDE 3.2, and Amarok needs KDE 3.3. That could be it.

Yep, you need KDE >= 3.3
