I am running Amarok 1.4.3 under Gnome on Ubuntu Dapper. I have (I think) checked all the right boxes etc to enable last fm within Amarok. However, nothing seems to be being uploaded, I have never seen any error messages within Amarok, the only way I know its not working is when I check last.fm
I have previously had this feature working when I was running it under KDE on Edgy. I am a linux newbie so have no idea how to go "under the hood" to find out what is (isn't?) happening. Any idiot-proof help or advice gratefully recieved... |

Note it currently says up, but it may not have been at the time of your post. check your ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/submit.xml file - if things are submitting ok, there should only be the most recent unsubmitted track in there. if there are problems with tracks you're submitting, a note will usually show up on your last.fm profile page. Be aware that, according to that last.fm forum post, there may be errors on your charts - if this is what you're using to check, then just wait. Otherwise, compile amarok yourself, with "debug=full" on the ./configure line, and run amarok from a console. play some tracks, and watch to see what happens when your tracks are due to be submitted.
