Suse 10.2 libtunepimp

Sun Nov 26, 2006 8:44 am
I've installed Suse 10.2RC.  This loads Amarok 1.4.4.2.7

At first Amarok would not load.  This seemed to be because it wanted libtunepimp-0.5.0.  I found that version and installed, and Amarok loaded.  But it will not play mp3s.  I am assuming this is because libtumepimp-mad and libpimptunepimp-faad are out of date.  However, I cannot find any newer copies.

Xine-mad and faad itself are uptodate.  Any ideas of a work-around or source of new mad and faad files?

libtunepimp is for musicbrainz lookups - perhaps check for a different binary of xine-lib itself.
