I've running Kubuntu 6.10 with the most recent version of Amarok (as far as I know). I've mounted my Karma and can see the file system in the terminal but when I try to configure it in Amarok, there is no handler present like there should be according to the walk through. Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks. |

Whichever version of amarok you have, it was more than likely not compiled with karma support.

As far as I know, the Kubuntu packages do not include Rio Karma support. Your options are to ask the Kubuntu maintainers to add support and/or compile Amarok from source. http://linux-karma.sourceforge.net/amarok-karma.html |

It seems that the source stops 1.4.1 and there is no source for 1.4.4 from which to build Amarok. Do I need to build it from the SVN? I've only been using Linux for a month so I'm kinda new to all this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |
