Running Kubuntu 6.10 (Edgy); amarok 1.4.3; 64-bit AMD machine

I have installed Web Control but when I run it and go to the localhost:4774 page, the page comes up completely blank.
I have tried every possible combination of the two configuration check-boxes, but it always comes up blank.

I have looked at the page source, and that says that page is completely empty (no HTML at all).

Obviously, the actual server is running (otherwise I'd get a connection error), but the page is simply not being populated :-(

There were no errors during the installation process or when I run the script.

Even if this is an old thread:

I have/had the same problem (though on kubuntu 7.10 32-bit with Amarok 1.4.8).

The solution seems to be that there is something limiting the playlist-size, i.e. when i reduced the number of songs in the list (from ~9000 to ~6000) it worked. Could anyone confirm this?

Still, would be better if it were possible to "webcontrol" the whole playlist.

you're probably running up against php timeouts or something. Better asking the webcontrol author, contact details should be there somewhere.
