Hello I used amarok with mysql, but i was wondering if it is also possible to use an mysql databse from my website, so i don;t need to install mysql on my PC. I hope someone can help me.

It should be possible IF your mysql server accepts requests from outside. Even if that is the case, its kind of pointless because I assume speed would be much worse than with a local SQLite database.
btw: using multiple computers with one database is only possible if the file structure of your collection is identical!
