SMB Share streaming

Sun Dec 24, 2006 7:52 am
I have a network share (using SMB server for cross compalibality with windows) with all my music on it.
Using smb4k I have the share mounted locally and told amarok to scan that folder for changes.
So far its only picked up maybe 1% of my total music collection in the tab 'Collection'.

I can manually tell amarok to play a file on the other machine, so playabilty isn't a problem.

*edit*
*#$@#$ big fingers*...(hit a key and submited and I wasn't done typing >_<)

Anyways..
I have the media seperated into folders by artist/album name, at least 90% of is.
Does the file need to have proper ID3 tags or a playlist for the album for amarok to pick it up and put it into the collection?
