Hi
I've been using Amarok successfully with MySQL for some time now. However, a few weeks back we had a power failure and my machine switched off. On restart Amarok had trouble reading from the MySQL database and I had to restore to a backup. Since the restore a few things have happened. One being that the "Favourite Albums" list on the main UI page doesn't seem to update very often. The second being that new podcasts show up in the "Your Newest Albums" list on the main UI page as well as "Fresh Podcast Episodes" (as expected) - something I can't remember happening before. I've been looking for a Amarok error log, but can't find anything. Is this a known bug? Where do I start to determine the cause of the problem and what settings are used to determine if an album is to be listed as a "Favourite Album"? In closing let me add that I am relatively new to both Linux and MySQL. I'm running Amarok 1.4.3, KDE 3.5.5 on Kubuntu 6.10. My version of MySQL is 5.0.24a and my kernel version is 2.6.17-10. Can anybody help? Regards Lee Francis |

OK, I've updated to 1.4.4, but nothing has changed. No matter how much I play other albums my Favourite albums remain the same...
