The following has been happening to me consistently (For the last few versions (of Amarok)) :

Add a 'new' podcast, then have Amarok pull in 2 or 3 'new' podcasts (over the course of a few weeks) .. after a few updates, it invariably stops updating itself and never pulls in new podcasts anymore. It 'searches' for updates to the existing podcasts, but never triggers an update, even when the .rss feed is manually opened in a text editor , and it is obvious that newer versions are available.

Gentoo 2006.1 / Sqlite / Amarok 1.4.4 / KDE 3.5.5

Any ideas ??

I have been having the same thing happening to me lately as well. Amarok doesn't seem to update the list of available podcasts untill days later, if at all. To solve this I've tried deleting the podcasts entry, and adding it back in again with no results. I'm using Ubuntu 6.10, Amarok 1.4.5 and KDE 3.5.6
