Hello, I've deleted quite a few albums. After installing Replaygain i noticed the script tried to work on albums i deleted a long time a go.
Why does amarok keep the old data, and is there a way of deleting it?

I also notice the Smart Playlists keep "Favorite tracks of..." entries for artists I've deleted.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I'm also having this problem at the moment so I'm going to bump this query up the forum.

I'm running Amarok v1.4.7 on Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon

I don't know the reasoning behind this, but if you look through your statistics table in your collection.db, you may find a lot of songs you've deleted through Amarok still there, but with the "deleted" column with a 1 or something.  I discovered this the other day when I was manually transferring the Amarok play stats of a **** rip of a Album with the new files within the database.  I used sqlitebrowser to dig up the songs I was looking for and to change the stats.  Was some interesting stuff in there I'd thought I'd deleted!

Like I said I don't know why Amarok keeps that statistic, I guess you could remove all those entries in bulk if you know some sql syntax (I'm trying to learn, albeit pretty slowly).
