So, I tried update to latest SVN, but there were errors. What? Checked the forums and read the sticky post.

I decided to stick with Amarok 1.4.5 so I compiled it from source. However, there is a problem that is just strange. I can't drag artist/albums etc. from the Collection browser.

Whenever I do, it just says "Unknown item". Well, I tried to drag from Context browser - works without a problem. Tried a playlist - no problems there either.

I have tried to fix this in various ways, without succeeding:
- deleted my collection.db
- deleted my whole ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok
- compiled 1.4.3, 1.4.4, 1.4.5, SVN stable... (yes with make clean and make uninstall)
- set my collection path to nothing, scan, restart Amarok and set it to ~/music

Can't think of another solution, so I'm asking you guys.

Here is what I think might be the error:

Code: Select all
 amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] [virtual QStringList SqliteConnection::query(const QString&)]  sqlite3_compile error:
amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] no such column: podcastchannels.name
amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] on query: SELECT DISTINCT tags.url,tags.deviceid FROM tags LEFT JOIN album ON album.id=tags.album LEFT JOIN artist ON artist.id=tags.artist  WHERE 1 AND tags.sampler = 0 AND ( 0 OR artist.name = 'Muse' )  AND tags.deviceid IN (1,2,3,-1) ORDER BY LOWER( artist.name ) ,LOWER( album.name ) ,LOWER( podcastchannels.name ) ,tags.discnumber,tags.track,LOWER( tags.url ) ;

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Oh right. I'm on Slackware 11.0, Qt: 3.3.6, KDE: 3.5.4.
