I've been looking pretty much everywhere on the internet and mostly on this website, and I really can't understand how tag labeling works ! To be clear, I call Tag the new feature available since 1.4.5 ("Libellé" in French, not quite sure of the word in English)
When I edit the tags for one song, I keep seeing in the "Tag box" on the left of the screen "Add new tags" but I can't see the tags I have added. However when I click on "Add new Tags", I see the whole list of my tags, and the one I checked for this song are checked. Moreover, I thought I would thus be able to create a playlist using the tag labeling, but I can't. When I chose to filter on the tag labels I have set up, it just won't work and will either edit an empty playlist if I have chosen to filter with "Tag contains" or with my complete collection if I filter with "Tag does not contain". I'm puzzled Anyhow, great thanks to the Amarok team, this software is clearly the best for listening to music !

I'm not sure why your labels (that's the english term used in Amarok) do not show up in the context browser. They do show up here, and they are updated when you change them. Try to change your Amarok theme, older themes do not support labels and might cause problems.
Unfortunately you can't create smart playlists with more than one label does not work at the moment. That is a known bug and will be fixed soon. It works fine with just one label. The same problem exists in the collection browser. The playlist filter works differently internally and will not support filtering for playlists soon, if at all. |

My theme is the default Amarok theme, and after changing it, it doesn't change a thing, I still can't see my labels.
This is the kind of screen I get : the labels are set, (I of course clicked on "OK" before) but I can't see them... And they are still not taken into account for doing any smart playlist [img=http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/3355/captureamarokjp4.th.png] |

Okay, I found the answer ! I only had to rebuild my collection, and now everything works fine !
