Hi. I just upgraded from 1.4.3 to 1.4.5 using Kubuntu Edgy. The new features are great. But since upgrading, after the first minute or so of playing back different MP3 podcasts, I hear a popping / snapping sound that gets louder and never goes away. I'm using Xine and have tried different output plugins, but nothing makes a difference. Has anyone else encountered this?

For what it's worth, I'm using an in ATI IXP SB400 AC'97 integrated audio controller on an HP laptop. Thanks!
