When I drag things onto the playlist most of the time there is distortion to the right of the album art, something like the attached image. How could that be caused?

This was caused by the nvidia driver installer setting only "glx" as a module to load in the xorg.conf file. The X error message this gave was, "extension "SHAPE" not found on..." I think the module that's needed for the moving of the images is "dbe".
