Hi all!

When I doubleclick a song it takes some time for the sound to actually play. It takes less than a second but it's annoying anyway. I'm using amarok 1.4.5 with kde 3.5.2 and the xine engine with alsa 1.0.11 in gentoo (everything compiled). With xmms I don't have this problem.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I have the same problem with my Kubuntu 6.10, the sound's quality is much better in XMMS and doesn't crash the music in the first second
