"-label" searches in 1.4.5 don't return unlabelled tracks

1.4.5 using postgres: a search using -label:whatever will return all tracks without that label but only those with some different label set (i.e. it will return only tracks that have at least one label, rather than all tracks without whatever)

Anyone had this problem with sqllite? Not too keen on switching back to test it since it causes my library to rescan which takes an age...

Thanks for any help!

I have the same problem with MySQL.

Creating a smart playlist, with a rule which says: "Does not contain labelx" will return all songs which do not have labelx, however who do have another label set. If they don't have a label, they won't be returned

Is this intended behaviour? Solution would be to create a label "NoLabel", but then you would have to remove this one each time you add another label to a song.
