I have a question on:
Amarok 1.4.5 Using KDE 3.5.5 running in Gnome on openSUSE 10.2 with Xine 1.28. Whew ![]() So it seems that the player misses some audio in between songs. This is probably an issue with Xine, but I didn't know who else to ask ![]() I'm listening to Killswitch's The End of Heartache right now. The next song in the queue is Declaration. When EOH ends, the player starts 3 seconds into the next song. This is reproducable for me. When every single song that I listen too ends, I get a 2-5 second gap into the next song. The perceived gap between the songs is nothing, however. When one song ends, the next song immediately begins, only 2-5 seconds in to it. Is this a bug with amarok or Xine? Does any of that make sense? |

I too am having this fault. Unfortunately I am not savvy enough to download a recent SVN and recompile it to see if that fixes the problem...

Could be a file format issue - neither of you mention whether you're playing mp3, flac, mp4 or whatever.

I'm using MP3, converted from M4A using SoundConvertor. They play fine on my PC, but once transferred to the iPod, some songs seem to lose the last 3-4 seconds
