Using iriver in Amorak

Wed Feb 28, 2007 5:02 am
I'm trying to manage an IRiver 180T in Amarok but am having trouble getting it detected.

Im running an Ubuntu Feisty system with udev scripts fixed so that non-root users can access the device (if they're in the right group).  The command line program "ifp" is able to talk to the device just fine.  Also, Amarok is being launched from within gnome.  When I tell the Amarok to look for devices it just tells me there's nothing there.

Where might the problem be?  Amarok isn't looking for any features of kde that would be missing since I run gnome is it?
