I've started using Amarok on my HTPC connected to my home theatre and I've noticed that when playing some of the streaming mp3 stations I listen to that the bass is inordinately boosted in volume (and considering my sub can hit a steady 17hz bass note its really annoying). Playback in mplayer *does not* exhibit this behavior, so it must be something in the Amarok playback chain. I'm using the xine engine.

I also noticed that Amarok rebuffers the stream quite often where as mplayer doesn't (5 times in 30mins compared to none).

anyone know if theres an easy fix for these issues?
