I'm currently considering switching from Madman + XMMS to Amarok.  I've got one issue that is kind of a deal breaker, though.  I can't seem to find any way to configure the resolution that libvisual plugins are displayed at.  I've searched around, and can't seem to find it.

To be honest, I'm not sure if this is an issue with configuring Amarok, libvisual or the plugin itself.  The plugin I want to use is projectM which works at the expected resolution when ran from XMMS as a XMMS plugin, and I couldn't find any sort of conf file for libvisual, so I thought that maybe it was an issue with configuring Amarok.  At any rate, I would be grateful if anyone can get me headed in the right direction.

Just make the window the desired size, or go into fullscreen mode. I don't understand your problem.

I don't have a problem going into full screen mode, but it appears to be rendering at around 640x480.  It's quite grainy.  When I run it as a XMMS plugin, there is a conf file to specify what resolution you want it to run at, and it looks really good at my desktop resolution (1280x1024).  I also loaded up a different libvisusal plugin in Amarok to check and see if it looked different, but it also appeared to be rendering at a low resolution.

First, thanks for all the great work that has gone into Amarok.

Is there any way to run the visualizations at a higher resolution? I'm thinking specifically of ProjectM. I changed the resolution in the projectm config file, but it still opens in a small window and when it goes fullscreen it is just an upscaled version of the low-res window.
