Hi!

I tried to compile the last version of SVN Amarok, 1.4.4 and 1.4.5 version!! (on Mandriva 2007.0)
But no luck! nothing works!

Here's how I did it!

libtaglib0-1.4

taglib-1.4
ruby-devel-1.8.5-2
qt4-common-4.1.4-12
qt3-common-3.3.6-18
gcc-4.1.1
xine-lib-1.4.4
kdebase-3.5.4

Here's my configuration :::
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe" CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" ./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix` --with-helix --enable-mysql --with-extra-includes=/usr/local/include --with-extra-libs=/usr/local/lib --with-mp4v2 --disable-debug --without-arts

I also tried::
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe" CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" ./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`

or
./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`


I also tried with GCC-3.4.6

but the result is always the  same!!!

I have compiled the SVN version (Novembre 8, 2006) without any problem!
So ! why this one doesn't compile well?

Does anyone has an idea on how to build it well?

Passing --without-opengl to configure or installing the opengl libraries should fix this.

You were right!!
It builts well now!!
The problem was with a missing opengl file!

I've built it ,firstly, without opengl (passing --without-opengl)  ... and it worked fine!
Secondly, I've checked my opengl librairiies and I've download everything name "mesa .... -devel" (only the "mesa mesa-common-devel libmesagl1-devel" files were already installed!)

libmesagl1
libmesagl1-devel
libmesaglu1
libmesaglu1-devel
libmesaglut3
libmesaglut3-devel
libmesaglw1
libmesaglw1-devel
mesa
mesa-common-devel
mesa-demos
mesa-source
xmms-mesa

... and everything compiled cleanly and is running fine now (opengl included)!!
