Hi folks,
I tried searching for a couple on the web and in different forums and can't find a straight answer to my problem My Gear: 80 GB 5th Gen iPod Amarok 1.4.5 Using KDE 3.5.6 Kubuntu 6.10/Edgy In Amarok I see everything in my Collection that is pointing to /media/ipod/. All is great, I can stream through Amarok building playlists on the fly. Under the Devices tab I see only 1 Artist and 1 of their Songs click on Invisible, looks like everything is still there.... I unmount my iPod and can only see that 1 Song by that 1 Artist? How can I tell my iPod to list my 6000+ songs???? To date, i've had to go into Windows, connect the ipod and go into a 3rd party ap called Anapod, then safely remove ipod before I can view my complete collection of songs on my iPod! I want to only use my Linux machine and Amarok to control my IPod as I've read mixing Linux and WinXP and ipods not good. I am a little green with linux, I don't know how to check which version of libgpod i have or any app via the command line. I really appreciate anyones help on this, I am at my wits end. Thanks Mark aka mjthfx |
