blue artist *not* icon showing

Sun Mar 25, 2007 3:23 pm
So, since moving to AMD64, i have not been able to get the artist icons to show up in my collection browser.. which library do i have to install to get these to show?

I have had a look at the optional dependencies, as i try to work out which library is responsible for drawing them.. i have all the libvisual libraries installed.. the only one i am missing, which i believe, could be responsible is "SDL 1.2"; its not easy deciding which package to install as when i search for it in synaptic i have too many options..

maybe i am away off track here, can someone please point me in the right direction...?

I realise this is rather petty but i just think the icons' are pretty and i miss them!

thanks.

Conal.

is it only the artists icon?

because actually Qt should take care of drawing the pixmap....
anyway, what distro are you using, and what desktop environment?

Annoyed with bbcode since 1999.

its only the artist icon, everything else is fine..  just tthe blue icons

screenshot is here: http://alkaspace.com/is.php?i=18013&img ... enshot.jpg

im using AMD64 xubuntu edgy 6.10 which uses xfce

it worked fine under 32bit xubuntu, although i did have a load extra libraries installed for other software on that machine.
