I wanted to remove one folder, and all sub-folders from my Amarok Collection.  But, I still want to maintain the same directory structure, as I have other playlists set up to use it.

I updated the "Configure Collection", to remove the folder. then temporarily moved the sub folders to another location, so Amarok would notice, and update it's view of my collection correctly.  Once this had completed, I shut down Amarok, and restarted.

But, when I moved the folders back to the original location, Amarok went ahead and updated the collection again, even though the folder they were added to is no longer selected.

How do I tell Amarok to stop "watching" this folder.

OK, answering my own question here.

Doing a "Rescan" seems to have solved the issue.
