Using Amarok 1.4.5 in Xandros Desktop 4.1 Professional. In Amarok I can connect successfully to the Zen. All the folders (and files) are displayed/can be displayed without problem. I can delete files/folders from the Zen with no problem.
Trying to transfer files (such as *.mp3) produce the following type of error:
If I use lib-mtp in console (such as mtp-connect, mtp-sendtr etc) I can successfully send individual files to the Zen (and which are successfully transferred and playable). I would be grateful for some help with this issue. Victor Warner |

This is a long-shot but could it be anything to do with the spaces in the path? I've had some issues copying some tracks to my Vision:M and it's always down to the path/filename.
Try copying the file to your home directory and adding it from there. |

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried it and it produces the same error. I also notice that a second error is being produced:
I woiuld appreciate some further help with this. Lacking any Linux skill I am at a loss to how to find out what the problem is (let alone cure it)... Victor Warner |

I got same problems with zen V.
Amarok connects to zen perfectly and you can transfer album art to zen, but no music. Same error as in first post. With Gnomad2 can transfer music, so got to be half happy now.

You are obviously lucky as far as Gnomad is concrened.
On my machine, Gnomad crashes at the point it connects to the Zen with the following error message in console:

Apologies for resurrecting this but did anyone get to the bottom of the error? I'm having the same problem at the moment (though it's been working fine up until recently).
