Hi,
While configuring amarok-svn I have been unable to compile since upgrading to qt-3.3.8. I specified the exact location of qt, and made a clean tree, but during the /multimedia/amarok/src/loader compilation I get the error message: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/qt-3.3.7/lib/libqt-mt.la -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Of course this makes sense as I am no longer using qt-3.3.7! The configure script does identify qt: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- checking for Qt... libraries /usr/lib/qt/lib, headers /usr/lib/qt/include using -mt checking for moc... /usr/lib/qt/bin/moc checking for uic... /usr/lib/qt/bin/uic checking whether uic supports -L ... yes checking whether uic supports -nounload ... yes checking if Qt needs -ljpeg... no ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I specify the exact path to qt, the configure script also reports the absolute path, yet the error is the same. Thank you Dan P.S. I fixed the problem by making a /usr/lib/qt-3.3.7/lib/ directory, and copying the contents of /usr/lib/qt-3.3.8/lib/ into it. Although crude, it will now compile and install a working binary. Thanks Dan
