How to edit tags for a cd?

Tue Apr 24, 2007 9:39 pm
I put a new cd into the drive, and Amarok has pulled up a list of misspelt names for it, presumably from CDDB. Yet it won't let me edit the titles when I right-click on them in the Playlist Window. How do I change these?

I'm running Amarok 1.4.3 on Kubuntu 6.10.

Well, how would that work? As you said, the tags are from CDDB.

So in short: You can't change the tags from a CD. You need to fix CDDB.

It would work the way it works for every other media player I've ever used. The tags, once downloaded, are stored locally, and you can overwrite them.
