Hello,

I tried to copy music located on a remote mt-daapd server to an USB MP3 player by dragging the different MP3 files to the playlist and then dragging them to the queue for transfer to an ordinary USB MP3 player. Unformately the transfer does not succeed with a message of "One piece can not be played on the media player" (or better "Ein Stück ist auf dem Media-Player nicht abspielbar".

In the queue, the filename is specified as "daap://192.168.47.11:3689/4712.mp3

Questions:
  • Is it possible at all to copy directly from remote shared music to an USB mp3 player?
  • If yes, what am I doing wrong?

I'm using Amarok 1.4.5 on SuSE 10.1.

Thanks in advance, Arnd
