Using the latest version gstreamer and mood bar I get the following when running the moodbar program from the command line.

Code: Select all
01:14:43 gbowden@gbnet:~$ moodbar

(process:27766): GStreamer-WARNING **: The GStreamer function gst_init_get_option_group() was
        called, but the GLib threading system has not been initialised
        yet, something that must happen before any other GLib function
        is called. The application needs to be fixed so that it calls
           if (!g_thread_supported ()) g_thread_init(NULL);
        as very first thing in its main() function. Please file a bug
        against this application.
Please specify an output .mood file

01:14:46 gbowden@gbnet:~$ ls /var/log/packages/ | grep gst
gst-plugins-bad-0.10.4-i386-2_GB
gst-plugins-base-0.10.12-i386-2_GB
gst-plugins-good-0.10.5-i386-2_GB
gst-plugins-ugly-0.10.5-i386-2_GB
gstreamer-0.10.12-i386-2_GB

Using moodbar version 0.1.2.

Any thing I can do to fix this?

Please specify an output .mood file

You have to specify an output file, like
Code: Select all
moodbar -o song.mood my_song.mp3

For for information use
Code: Select all
moodbar --help

I forgot to say that the moodbar program was working fine the only thing was:

Code: Select all
(process:27766): GStreamer-WARNING **: The GStreamer function gst_init_get_option_group() was
        called, but the GLib threading system has not been initialised
        yet, something that must happen before any other GLib function
        is called. The application needs to be fixed so that it calls
           if (!g_thread_supported ()) g_thread_init(NULL);
        as very first thing in its main() function. Please file a bug
        against this application.

that which happens everytime I run the program.

This didn't happen with the previous version of gstreamer which I used before.

Thanks,

Regards,

Greg

It's already fixed in SVN.
