Hello.  New Linux/Amarok user.  I am trying to configure my Walkman Phone to sync with Amarok.  According to http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Media_Device:VFAT, there should be a plugin that works with these phones.  Amarok autodetects my device, but there is no such plugin in the list of choices to configure it.  I tried using the Generic Music Player plugin, but if I leave that unconfigured, I get the error message "this device must be mounted."  When I add mount/dev/sdc1 to the generic device configuration, I get the error "malformed URL"

So, if someone could be so kind as to tell me...
1) What is the proper command for mounting & ejecting generic devices?
OR
2) Is there really a VFAT plugin like the wiki says that will work with the device that is autodetected?  If so how do I get it?

Thanks for your help.  By the way, Amarok autodetected and configured my iPod just as expected.

The generic device IS the VFAT plugin.
You may need to add your device to /etc/fstab though to be recognized and to make the mount commands below work.

Pre-connect command will be most of the time "mount %d"
post-disconnect "umount %d"

The Amarok Website should give more information on how to set up the generic audio player feature.

Thanks for your help.  Somehow, with no additional steps on my part, it works now with the generic plugin.
