Hope someone here can help me.
I updated yesterday from 1.4.5 to 1.4.6. running on Ubuntu 7.04 It was working fine until I added some music files to my library. Then it just stopped working, Icouldn't open it to close it, nor start or stop music. I had to reboot pc - and then .... absolutely nothing, nada, zilch. ![]() I uninstalled and reinstalled - still nothing. I tried purging it and reinstalling still nothing. When I try to run it, it shows in system monitor as running - but nothing happens. Very frustrated indeed - would really like to get it running. Quite lost without it! Reinstalled Ubuntu and it works now.

Doing it again - every time it updates the library it crashes. I've purged it and reinstalled - deleted the amarok folder and reinstalled - nothing makes it stop.
It starts to update the library - latest was adding approx 10 folders - then crashes, when restarting it goes back to the last playlist. When I restart all the new files are there - but it is extremely frustrating. Does anyone have any idea what might be going wrong and how I could get it to stop? ![]() |

No I tried that one - before the last but 1 reinstall - no go. Eventually it'll work itself out I hope with the next version. In the meantime I'll probably just carry on not updating until I have to. Could be because I'm running it on Ubuntu, not sure - but hey could be worse
