change database

Sat Jun 30, 2007 10:08 am
Hello,

I want to change database using by Amarok.
In the doc, i read that i can make this in the config pannel.
But i don't have this option:

Moreover, I don't know which database is used now.

I use Mandriva Spring 2007.1 and Amarok 1.4.6. But I had the same problem whith Amarok 1.4.5.

In fact, My real problem is this bug:
Star ratings now update instantly in the Context Browser, OSD, and Collection Browser.

in Amarok 1.4.5.
It is fixed in Amarok 1.4.6, but at my home, I still have it.
Perhaps by changing the database, this bug will be resolved?

Thanks!

In order to use MySQL or PSQL support, Amarok must be built with it. If it's only built with SQLite support, you won't be able to use anything else.

I used the RPM of main.bakport of Mandriva.
Thus, it's this package that no support MySQL and PSQL?

And for the fact that i still have the rating bug, you think possible that it cause by my database? (SQLite?)
