Hello,
Im sure you'd get this topic every so often, however the forum search returns things from 2005 mentioning changing to gstreamer, and the wiki search apparently has nothing in wmas. I am running Fedora 7 with the livna repo installed, and it used to work under fedora core 6. Some information that may be of use:
I have attempted to install win32 codecs:
Does not help. Amarok is of course running the xine engine, which im sure worked with WMA's before. The error message is 'There is no available decoder'. MP3's play fine.

Try to play wmas in xine only (using e.g. xine-ui).
You might need to tell xine where the codecs are (see xine-ui config dialog). |

Hello,
I removed all packages mentioned above, and a few more that seemed related, then added them all again. Its working great now. I guess reinstalling made xine discover the codecs. |
