Love using Amarok & recent 8GB iPod as well as with my wife's older 20GB iPod but when I unmount iPod, not only does the iPod unmount, the CD tray opens.  I think this is b/c of the Post disconnect default command:  kdeeject -q %d.  How do I correct this?  Do I just delete this post disconnect script? Should I change the disconnect command to something else?  (I still consider myself a Linux newb so my questions may be naive)
Thanks.

check the syntax for kdeeject - not sure where you got the "-q" from... running kdeeject on its own says the syntax is "kdeeject "

-q is for quiet.

Try
kdeeject -q %m
See if that works any better.

I have this same issue and have tried both suggestions above with no luck.  Have also tried a number of variations of kdeeject and gnome-eject syntax to try and get it right but no luck so far.

Does anybody actually have eject working w/ 1.4.8?  Can you post your exact eject command?
