I just installed amarok on an AMD-64 box.
I have KDe running, I have amarok running, I have k3b running. I can play my music with amarok. I can burn CDs with k3b. But I can't burn a playlist to a CD from amarok; it just gives me the very terse "Can't start k3b" error mesage in a popup window. I can't find any debugging logs or any errors anywhere. Any suggestions on this? Debian Etch KDE 3.5.5 Amarok 1.4.4 |

I did some basic checking - replaced /usr/bin/k3b with a simple bash capture script. It's never being called.
OK, I started amarokapp yan@dionysus:~$ amarokapp kbuildsycoca running...
