Hi. I'm currently running Fedora 7 with these packages:
amarok.i386 1.4.6-2.fc7 installed amarok-extras-nonfree.i386 1.4.4-1.lvn7 installed libmusicbrainz.i386 2.1.4-1.fc7 installed libtunepimp.i386 0.5.3-3.fc7 installed libtunepimp-extras-nonfree.i386 0.5.3-1.lvn7 installed I mostly listen to mp3 files. I've noticed that if a musicbrainz tag lookup returns no matches (or maybe some other failure), subsequent lookups will just go forever, chewing up CPU. I have to restart amarok to get it working again. I saw a bunch of related bug reports, but many were old and marked as resolved. Do others see this problem? Thanks, reid |

Following up.... I have seen it work for me now after a zero-match lookup, so maybe it was actually failing some other way before. It still sometimes gets into a state where it hangs on further lookups, eating CPU, but now I'm not so sure what's doing it. Wish I could provide more details....
