I was dragging around columns, and suddenly some dissapeared. I checked to see if they were supposed to be displayed, and they should be. One column came back while I was resizing another column. You'll note that the artist and album columns can't be enabled under the "Show Column" option, but yet it aren't visible. another issue you'll notice is on "screenshot-1," the border between columns bitrate and year cannot be resized- it is greyed out. perhaps this is where the lost columns went?

i'm running ubuntu 7.04 and amarok 1.4.6.

I've mostly resolved this now. according to "show columns" the lost columns are supposed to be there, but
under "select columns" i can reselect the  lost columns to bring them back
the whole columns thing is still very irritating though
