Hello!
I use Amarok 1.4.5 on FreeBSD 6.2. Recently I started using dynamic playlists as I didn't like waiting for Amarok to load all my 8000 tracks into one huge playlist etc. I followed the "Dynamic Playlist Walkthrough" from wiki. There's one weird behaviour in Amarok now - sometimes a track starts playing, does it for about 2 seconds and then smoothly goes to the next track (I think it's smooth because I use crossfading). When I double-click on the skipped track, Amarok plays the track just fine. Then, after a few tracks (~5), I stumble upon the same issue. I switched to dynamic playlist on 2 machines (both of them FreeBSD-6.2) - one at work and the other at home. On both Amaroks I use smart playlist in dynamic one (I don't know whether some other way is possible), but the smart playlists differ though (the first uses "Most Played" and a playlist made by myself, the other uses only "All Collection"). Has anybody else experienced the issue? Is there anything I could do to resolve it? ![]() |

Disable crossfading, or at least increase the crossfade duration. A too short duration can confuse xinelib.
