Hey everyone,

I am currently using Kubuntu 7.04(AMD64) and everytime I try to load a song in mp3 format off of my 2gig usb card Amarok freezes up and then I have to terminate to turn it off. I am using the version of Amarok that comes standard with Kubuntu 7.04(AMD64) the build date it has listed in the about sections says it was made on June 22nd 2007.

Is there an update of some sort I can get to fix this problem?

you have to install the proper codecs in order to play most music files...

use synaptic package manager or adept and search for libxine-extracodecs, should work after you install them
