Hello, in my Organization tab on the sidebar of Amarok, I see a large number of songs that are listed under "Unknown" album, however when I look at the track information there is an album listed.  Why aren't these sorted under their album name (I'm grouping by Album), and how can I fix this?

Actually, all the songs were properly tagged etc, so this would not have helped.  I figured it out though, choosing to not list those songs under "Various Artists" worked (although I have no idea how they got there in the first place?)

There are various posts here explaining how items can end up under "Various Artists". To summarise, you probably have files where the album name is the same, but there are multiple artists listed for the tracks (although sometimes, Amarok just gets it wrong ). Mostly happens with collaberative tracks. One way around it is to do something like (as per musicbrainz guidelines) MainArtist - TrackName (feat. Artist). Or, as you discovered, tell Amarok they're not "various artist" albums.
