I am having a problem similar to the one reported in the topic http://amarok.kde.org/forum/index.php/t ... 747.0.html.
So no artwork is showing up anymore on the ipod...

But the solution presented there does not work:
I am actually using amarok 1.4.6 (with matching libgpod 0.4.2) where the problem of artwork not showing up should be resolved.
Besides moving from fat32 to hfs+ (without journalling) I upgraded the firmware to 1.2.1 - but this should not be the problem right?

My iPod is a 5th generation Video with 30 GB capacity.

Regards,
Christian.

The basic problem was that the firmware upgrade emptied the file /media/COB/iPod_Control/Device/SysInfo.
The next prblem was, that this file was not writeable for the user since the hfs+ has access rights which were and the files belong to root.
So no application could update the model number in the file which prevents amarok from recognizing the correct model.
Ergo - no artwork got transferred.

So by simply changing the access rights to the files on the ipod the problem was solved.
