I restored my system from a backup, and wanted to start amarok from scratch.

I deleted the collection files from the amarok directory, configured amarok to look in the music folders I wanted to include, and did "rescan collection".

The music exists; I can see it and play it from Konqueror or xmms without root privileges. But the scan turns up empty.

Where did I go wrong?
