I got the default category's of playlists (Playlist, Smart Playlists, Dynamic etc..) but for some reason the Playlist option isn't expandable into tree view so it looks like I don't have any saved playlists.
I can't access them any way but if I attempt to save a playlist with the same name as I have done before, Amaroks asks me if I wan't to replace it. Where have my playlists gone ?? Running Kubuntu 7,04 and Amarok 1,4,7 |

Hi. I've noticed this happens to me too sometimes, I'm assuming after a crash or something. The playlists are still there in the directory ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/playlists/ . You can just load them back in and hopefully amarok will remember them the next time

This particular bug has been fixed in 1.4.7. It could indeed sometimes happen with 1.4.6 and other earlier versions. However, I'm not sure if the original poster was referring to the same thing.

I will check out the dir for the files.
I did update to 1.4.7 after the playlists did disappear in thought that it perhaps was a UI bugg. Hopefully after I load them up this time (in the 1.4.7 version) they will stay there.. Will get back with results.. |
