i have two pc's the first contains all my music and has fedora 7 installed the second pc has suse10.2 installed.
i usually mount my music files from the fedora pc onto the suse pc using the mount -t cifs command and can view them ok using konqueror, banshee & xmms. Amarok can view the files as well but cannot add them to its collection. the music is on //192.168.25.104/ziki with i mount to a directory on the suse pc at /home/tomi/ziki i use the command mount -t cifs //192.168.25.104/ziki /home/tomi/ziki on the suse command konsole the music folder on //192.168.25.104/ziki is shared using samba in such a way that no password is required and is read only How can i get Amarok to add my remotely mounted music to its collection using the cifs command? |
