I have a problem with Amarok, using xine engine and ALSA. When I change the volume with the slider in Amarok, the volume actually changes a few seconds later. It is very annoying when using the replaygain script.

That may be the replaygain script itself.  If you have [x] Allow volume slider to adjust pre-gain in the configure, the repolaygain is actually modifying the pre-gain, not the volume.
