how do I "launch the helpcenter" ?

Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:45 pm
when I am in amarok, under the help menu, I try choosing the option "amarok handbook F1" - but I get the following error message:

could not luanch the KDE Help Center:

could not find service 'khelpcenter'

then I also just tried a backup program called "keep" and I get the same error message...

so how can I install this help center dealie?  Don't tell me it's another sudo thingie?

thanks!

I guess you're not using kde as desktop! Yep, you'll need to install the package using the same package manager you used for mysql. There should be a graphical interface for it, if you're sick of the console. Off the top of my head though, I can't remember what it's called.

alternatively, the handbook is available as part of KDE documentation -

If men could get pregnant, we'd learn the true meaning of "screaming nancyboy wuss"
