Hey all,
At the moment i have a Creative Zen 5gb with the MTP firmware.
mtp-detect can find the player, and gnomad2 can delete/put songs on however for some reason it isnt too stable.

Amarok doesnt have the mtp plugin enabled even when i built it from the SVN source, were there some options i might have been missing?

Here are the versions of libusb and libmtp
julius@julius-downstairs:~/amarok-svn$ pkg-config --modversion libusb
0.1.12
julius@julius-downstairs:~/amarok-svn$ pkg-config --modversion libmtp
0.1.3

mtp-detect is run as a standard user, the same user as amarok.

I have had a look around and i am still clueless with what i should do.. lol
Thanks
Julius

have a look at amarok's configuration settings before you compile.

in the source dir, type "config --help" for the options.
