I had this problem for a few months and was lazy in fixing it :biggrin:. I now got a meizu, and wanted to use it with amarok. I could use it, but soon as I hit the kmail button (which was always there) it crashed. I just found out it runs just fine with sudo. Anyway I also just solved the problem by removing the ~/.xine folder (got the idea from ubuntuforums), but since I saw a few posts here and at the ubuntu forums with this problem I decided to post this just in case someone has the exact problem. Amarok runs just fine now. Hope the mods don't mind.
